For Sale FS: Olympus 50mm 1.8 lens in the box

Here is an Olympus 50mm 1.8 lens in the OM System box. There are 2 problems: one---the lens number does not match the number on the box two---the aperture is lazy and needs to be cleaned. However the glass is nice and the OM lens data is in the box. A great deal for someone willing to spend an hour or two cleaning this. $7 plus shipping.

Is it standard with oil on the aperture blades on these? I got that on mine too!!

Yes, this is a common problem. Some people think this is made worse by storing the lenses on their side, but I don't know about that. It is not difficult to solve, but you need an hour or two of time.

I don't have the nerves for that, probably I should just let the local camera repairman earn his bread instead then.
