Here we have a very nice Nikon FTn Serial number 672225 (cool number) non-motor body. Has a number engraved in the back and two letters lightly engraved on the front right hand side (the rewind side). If not for the engravings, this would be a 90% new camera. It appears to have spent its life in a Nikon Ever ready case (included but not shown). All the body covering is intact, not peeling away on any corners. No dents in the body or on the base. Ive given it a good first cleaning, but it could use another. The battery compartment is very clean. I have not tested the meter, but the interrior of hte battery compartnemt is very clean. All the shutter speeds are good for a camera this age, the 1 and 1/2 second exposures seem a little long, but all of the others are fine (this may be worked out if the camera is exercised more when I got this it has been sitting in a closet for years).
The lens is gorgeous. Has a cool serial number too 485000 - Came to me with a mounted, chrome Nikon L1C filter (and its original box). So the glass is a close to mint as I have ever seen (same for the rear element). The focus is nice and firm, with just the right amount of feedback (a lot of these older metal Nikkors can be really loose, not this one its nice and firm, but not bound up).
The body is in excellent shape could use another deep cleaning. Aperture blades are all dry and in great shape. Mirror is really nice, needs to be dusted, but the first surface mirror looks untouched. Nikon A screen included is also in very nice shape. Mirror foam is brand new (I just replaced it). Sadly, I cant keep them all. Comes with the original manual, L1C filter and filter box, original 50mm / 58mm metal Nikon lens hood and Nikon ever ready case.
