I bought two of these for my CS8000. It can be easily modified for wet-scanning your 35mm film. There are several places on the web where you can get the glass for these and wet-scanning fluid. This is how I've been scanning my film for the past 18 months. The modification is not permanent and can be undone completely with zero damage to the holder. I thought I was going to need a second holder to speed up my work flow, but as I got better at it, there was no need.
It is basically still new in the box. I absentmindedly wrote on the box when I was taking down an address and there is some handling wear on the box, but the carrier is in perfect condition.
