Other than a few rub marks here and there, this body is nice and clean. Ready to shoot!
I've probably put 20 rolls since I purchased it last year, but use other equipment most of the time. All rolls have PERFECT frame spacing, metering is super-accurate(and I shoot slides 95% of the time!), accurate enough I no longer take a handheld meter with me when shooting with it.
Comes w/ Nikon(original, not a knockoff) strap and body cap. The batteries installed at time of pictures being taken this morning are also included )
Price is $1250 shipped in the USA +1/2 PP fees incurred(if using PP for payment)
Int'l buyers will need to cover extra postage cost over US-postage rates.
For int'l shipping I use Express Mail ONLY.
Paypal(split fees 50/50) or USPS Money Orders please for payment

Are you you the first owner? Any warranty from mfg.?

Sorry to dissapoint, I'm not the 1st owner. Not sure about any warranty remaining, all I have is the camera itself, no box or other misc items such as a warranty card.

It's still a "current" product from Nikon however:
http://www.nikonusa.com/en/Nikon-Products/Product/Film-Camera/1799/F6.html
and thusly, should have spare parts a'plenty IF any repairs should ever be needed down the line... You'd have to really beat this thing in order to break it, this thing is a TANK!

How is an M3 or M6 worth most of this price.... these are rare!
My F100 will serve me well, would like to grab it but the F100 is only worth $150 on a good day.
Unbelievable how quicky film left my professional workflow.

I have had two F6 cameras and still regret selling them. Absolutely great cameras. Too high for me though.

In fact they are so good I would possibly trade my leica M4-P for one. But that's another story...

Good luck

Nikon USA warranties do not transfer. You have to buy from an authorized dealer for the warranty to be honored. So, regardless of the warranty time left, even if Daniel was the first owner, it would not matter.

For me, the first owner selling the camera is different than if it has had many owners, and in that regard, it does matter. YMMV

Of course, some people like you might consider single or multiple owners of used goods important, and this is a perfectly valid argument in a price negotiation. However, I was not referring to that. Warranty of Nikon USA goods was the whole scope of my previous post. And indeed, for warranty purposes, it doesn't matter how many previous owners a Nikon camera had. It just won't transfer.

Damn it Dan. The minister of finance has battled hard and only just relinquished funds for 2000' of 7266 and 400' of 5222. I know I don't need this camera but I'd sure love to have it at this price. But the film is already a done deal. I want a roll of 70mm film from ilford as well so I just can't be the buyer.

Hi Eric,
Yes, I'm open to a trade.
This is what I'm looking for at the moment:
-(20) 5x7 plastic film holders in VG condition (approx $500 trade value)
-Fuji GX680III stuff (see my WTB ad here in the classifieds for a list)
-Fujinon-A 180mm lens in a black Copal shutter (w/ caps
+ retaining ring)

Thx,
Dan
