Up for sale is another lovely Nikkormat FT2 in black finish with the classic 50mm f:2 Nikkor-H lens. Many feel that this is the best of the early Nikkor 50's. The FT2 has the newer cosmetics of the F2 (plastic tipped wind lever and self timer lever) and a hot shoe on the prism. Most importantly it uses the newer MS76 silver battery that does not require the work around of the Mercury batteries in the FTN. It retains the wonderful feel of the Nikkormat FTN (my first Nikon) and the great center-weighted meter and bullet proof Copal Square shutter. It can also use any Nikon lens with meter coupling "ears" The meter works and is responsive, but is off a stop or two, that can be easily adjusted with the ASA. The lens is clean in all respects as to glass, focus and aperture. Included is a newer Nikon strap.
I would like to get $150 for this lovely camera and lens and that includes Priority Mail in Continental US.

Bump and a new price. How about $125 including Priority Mail in CONUS
This a very solid camera and would be a great starter film camera for a child or grandchild.
