I have this camera listed in the For Trade classifieds. You can check out the details there. There are three lenses, film masks, 3 film backs etc..etc.. I would like to get a Widelux out of it. Will sell the whole works for $750 plus shipping. Would prefer US Sales. I will not be parting it out.
This is an extensive nice clean kit. No dings, dents, peeling paint, fungus or haze. Glass is clean and scratch free. The kit has been well cared for, lenses are like new, and rangefinder is spot on. I've seen rough looking ones selling in the $400-$600 range on ebay and elsewhere, with just one lens and no extra backs. This camera has most everything a photographer will need, 6X6, 6X7, 6X9, and cut film back. Can also do 6X4.5 if you find the mask or make your own.
Thanks for looking,

Nice kit! Can I ask what 3 lenses they are?
Nevermind, found the info in the For Trade ad.

I forgot to mention that polarizer filters are included. Batteries? Don't need no stinking batteries! Haha! The Press 23 does not operate on batteries, shutters are all mechanical. As long as you have film you are good to go!

Mamiya Press

Mamiya1 024.jpg pic of 6X6 mask.

In the bottom center pic above is the Mamiya grip and remote trigger. This had broken at one time and was (I'd guess) epoxied back together, where the plastic round part meets the coupler to the body. It is now rock solid. I wrapped it w/ Gorrilla tape to hide where the break was.
The ground glass inside the film holder back is in mint condition also. As is the little bellows.
Generally the body is in very nice shape, just a few scratches and wear marks. As I mentioned a well taken care of outfit.
Anyway this is the whole shootin' match. I won't be letting the case go as it's to heavy for shipping. Unless you want to pay for it and the shipping cost.

Yes, the 6X9 back is my favorite! Although I like 6X6, and 6X7. Someone mentioned in another thread about Mamiya Press backs as keeping the film flat, better than most other backs. And I tend to agree.

Now reduced to $700 for the whole kit.

Light seal replacements are readily available for these press roll film backs as well.

It has had light seals replaced recently.
I may have over priced this kit. I would think maybe $650 with all three lenses and accessories would be more in line.
Make me an offer!

There really isn't much description there. Do you expect everybody to know what they are looking at? What is the larger lens? And what are all the other round things that look like they hook up to the lens attachment point?

BTW, I'm looking for a 6x9. If this thing can adjust to other sizes, so much the better.

My mistake.. I had listed the specs on everything in the "For Trade" forum on here. I just bumped it back to the top in For Trade so you could see the lenses and backs for the camera.

Rather than give it away, I've decided to keep using it. A while back someone on apug told me they have always regretted selling theirs. And since I have put so much into this kit, it would be a shame to let it go. (Unless the right camera came along haha)
Thanks anyway.....
