There is a little piece of something on an inner element (barely visible in the photo), but it has never shown up in any of my images...and i've shot this thing a lot.
This is a nice example of an amazing Nikon lens (great for low light and portraits).
Beautiful bokeh and color rendition...super smooth focusing. This is really a gem of a lens.
