I purachase this chamonix alpinist x last month after being on the waitlist for a while. At the time I was already considering purchasing an arca-swiss camera but figured I'd check out the alpinist. It is a phenomenal camera but I've decided the arca swiss fits my needs better. So I'm selling this brand new chamonix alpinist x at a slight discount. It has been set up a few times and a couple negatives shot with it but it has never left my house and is in new condition still. It will come to you via UPS with the black soft case, in the same box I received it in from chamonix. Also included is a custom set of shims from chamonix, for installing a fresnel lens behind the ground glass. I never got around to using them but they're included in case the new user wants to install a fresnel. I'm asking $5000 ($600 less than I paid and what you'd pay if you bought it from chamonix) paid via paypal goods and services. I'll cover paypal fees and shipping.
