I recently bought an 848 from a LFPF member, but that scanner had many issues, and while i was waiting for those to get fixed, i ordered this scanner. The first scanner has finally been delivered and is working (after 3 months in shipping and service) and i just cannot justify having two of these machines here, not to mention, that this one is practically new, and has less then 3000 scans since new.
Comes with all original holders (35 ver/hor, 35X6frames, 35mm mounted slide, 6X4.5, 6X17, 2up 6X6, 6X7, 4X5, 4X6 reflective, A4 reflective). Includes all manuals and paperwork that were originally sent with the scanner as well as the original cover and power supply.
Needless to say this scanner is in MINT condition, and i cannot see any signs of use on it, other then a slight smudge on the top right corner of the outside cover.
It is out of the original box, and i have used it twice (1 scan to test when i got it for testing and another upon request of a potential buyer) and so i will say it is used but as close to new as can possibly be.
Asking 8900$ net to me, and i will cover the shipping in conUS (International buyers welcome, please ask for exact shipping quote to your country).
Due to the high amount, i will only accept a direct wire transfer (or paypal "gift" transfer) for this, but will guarantee the purchase, and offer full return for refund (less original shipping) if buyer is not 100% satisfied with this scanner. As this scanner is in the condition it is in, i can safely say, you will never see another scanner like this short of buying one new off the shelve for about X2 as much.
