Very good overall condition, untested with film. Comes with what seems to be the original case, the battery pack/handle and one Minolta branded 8mm spool/reel (not shown).

Lens looks clean and clear and all functions seem to work smoothly that I can tell. Battery compartment is free of any corrosion.

$25 shipped in CONUS / plus shipping elsewhere via Paypal or USPS Money order with 3% given to APUG.

I'm not at all familiar with movie cameras but:

Seems to be standard 8 from what I could find online, and I'm not sure on batteries...looks about right for AA and seems that is the consensus on the web.

Here's somebody loading one:

In an event, it is sold pending payment.

I'm slow to pitch in because I'm not the seller, but this is a Standard 8 camera. Super 8 uses a cartridge, and has only one spindle. It looks like it takes AA cells loaded into the handle. That was an arrangement several other similar cameras used. Many Standard 8 cameras were clockwork/spring driven, but this model has no winding key, so must be electric. The Minolta movie cameras were expensive and highly regarded. I would be interested if it was in the UK.

The circular cover on top of the camera looks like it's for the meter/auto exposure cell. The camera looks to be in pretty good condition. I don't know about the U.S., but Minolta movie cameras are not very common here in the UK.

Not quite...
There were cameras that took 16mm film on open reels for the 16mm, the Standard-8 or the Super-8 frame.
Though the latter were not that common.

Thus my remark on the frame rate.
