I would call this lens average to ok, but I'll tell you it always took great pictures. The glass is clear and clean with one small oddity on the front element perimeter. I don't know what it, but it looks sort of like a piece of cellophane or tape on the edge. Small is the key word...maybe 1/8 inch by 1/2 inch or so Whatever it is, it never made any difference. The focus is stiff...and I've learned it is with some Rokkor lenses, but it isn't bad. Wear is average to possibly more than average...you can see wear on the barrel paint. Because this lens was so predictable, I used it frequently. Aperture is fine. Now you can have it for $25 plus actual cost of shipping.
