The SCA 300e allows shoe mount flashes to be used with 45 and 60 series flash control modules. From the Metz site: "Connection between adapters SCA 344, SCA 386 and SCA 396 to Metz shoe mount flashes, 50 MZ-5 and 70 MZ-5, -4"
