It's hard for me to do this, but with a lot of things changing in my life and with the types of photos I'm taking, I'm putting my beloved Mamiya 6 kit up for sale.

Along with the body, you'll get the 75mm and 50mm lenses, as well as a simple black strap a body cap and one rear cap for the lenses.

The camera is currently at Advanced Camera here in Portland for a tune up, since this was going to be my main rig in Korea and during some world travel. They're making sure it's in rip roaring shape, and fully calibrating both lenses to the rangefinder. I should have it back Tuesday (1/27) or Wednesday (1/28), at which point I can get it shipped out.

Lenses are both immaculate. The 50 was recently serviced by Precision Camera in Chicago by the previous owner and is good for a LOOOONG time to come. 75 comes with a hard to find hood and I believe both have UV filters.

The body has two bits of cosmetic stuff. A little rubbing on the top plate and some minor paint loss on the bottom of the foldable lens mount.

I also have a 58mm Canon Green filter and a filter case which I'll gladly throw in.

Viewfinder is insanely bright, patch is contrasty. Lenses are smooth as butter.

It's a killer kit. Asking $1600 shipped to CONUS.

Ships from Portland, OR.

I love this camera so much, I own two of them!

Great deal for someone who wants one of the greatest film cameras ever made.

Out of interest, how accurate are the frame-lines in the Mamiya 6? With a Hasselblad for example, what you see on the screen is what you get on the frame. Also, does the 50mm require a viewfinder like on the Mamiya 7?

Finally, would you consider shipping to CONUSACE?

I've found the frames to be very accurate. I can't think of a time when I've composed an image then seen a negative and thought, "No, wait, that wasn't in there!" The 50 does not require a viewfinder like the 7, which I find a huge advantage of the 6 system over the 7.

I'm not exactly sure what CONUSACE is, but it looks like you're located in Switzerland. I can ship it there, but the cost would fall on your for anything over $17, which is roughly the cost to ship this in the USA.

CONUSACE is me being smart. contiguous united states and continental europe.

I'm interested, very interested. Maybe I should unload one of my 7ii's (I have 2). I love 6x6 so much and I love filling the frame which is why I ask about the framelines and being able to use the 50mm without a viewfinder would be wonderful. If I decide to go for it, I would be happy to cover the cost of shipping. I will go through the usual foreplay of adding a new camera to the collection and get back to you on this.

Did the 6 come back from the camera shop yet? I may be interested... Any additional photos available? Do you know what the shutter count? I'm in Texas.

Final price drop to $1550 shipped to CONUS. Otherwise, it goes to a local shop or KEH!

Hi Logan,

I have been flirting with the idea of buying this camera. Sadly though I'll let someone else snap it up. I need another camera like I need a hole in my head! Good luck with the sale and congratulations in advance to whoever buys it!
