Selling a COMPLETE Hasselblad 500el/m kit which is equipped to cover just about every shooting situation. The body was checked out last September by a certified Hasselblad technician at Nippon Photo in Manhattan and got a clean bill of health; the lens had a full CLA, cleaned and lubed by the same technician at the same time. All functions on the body work perfectly; all speeds on the lens are spot on, and the glass is perfect -- absolutely no issues.

Comes with everything listed below (all items are Hasselblad brand unless otherwise noted); all filters are cased:

- 500el/m body with standard screen
- Zeiss Planar 80mm f2.8 C B50 lens, works perfectly, glass is immaculate
- Hasselblad B50 metal lens hood
- Hasselblad PM-3 prism finder with cold shoe (immaculate glass; no cover)
- waist level finder with magnifying hood
- Hasselblad double handled grip with shoe and push button shutter release
- Hasselblad brand electric cable release, remote shutter trigger
- Hasselblad quick release tripod adapter with 1/4" and 3/8" sockets
- genuine Hasselblad neck strap (the longer version)
- A12 6x6 120 back with good seals (newer but not the newest version)
- A24 6x6 220 back with okay seals (should be taped off for fast films)
- Matching dark slides for each back in excellent condition
- CR-P2 battery adapter (purchased new 2 years ago) with live CR-P2 battery
- Hasselblad brand black and white filters: Yellow (FF 1.5x) and Red (FF 6x)
- Hasselblad brand haze filter (HZ)
- Hasselblad CB color correction filter
- Hoya B50 Polarizer
- Camrex B50 FL-B flourescent / color reciprocity failure correction filter
- Izumar B50 Yellow K2 filter (not pictured)
- Generic B50 to 58mm filter thread adapter (priceless!)
- 3 rolls frozen Fuji RZ ISO 800 Pro 220 film (discontinued last year; not pictured)
- lens caps, front and rear
- body caps, front and rear
- Hasselblad 500el/m instruction manual

Aside from a few Hasselblad logos that are partly worn off on some of the accessories, everything is in good condition and all parts work as they should. As you may be able to see from one of the photos, there is a slight mark on the cover of the waist level finder, and this may come off (I've never tried to get it off); there are also some light marks on the screen, but these don't affect operation and are only visible in certain light with the lens capped.

This is a great system and a great setup that is ready to see some action; it has served me well, and I loved walking around with the strap around my neck and the grip ready to fire like a joystick at anything that took my fancy, but I just don't have room for it anymore.

Asking $760 for everything, payable through PayPal.

I prefer to ship via Priority through the USPO, but I will ship UPS Ground if that's what you want. Feel free to PM me with any questions.

Sorry, I'm not interested in trades on this -- I have too much gear as it is!

It does not have the Acute-Matte D screen in it -- that was the one thing I wanted to get for it but never got around to buying. They're still running between $200 to $300 at KEH dot com and other places, but you might be able to find one for less on the fleaBay.

BTW, the CR-P2 battery delivers exactly 6V, as recommended by Hasselblad. Each battery is supposed to deliver about 250 shots.

Body dates to 1981 using date code from serial number -- the 500el/m model was made from 1971-1984.

There's an 808 in the shroud, so I think it actually dates to 1965.

It would suggest that, yes. The serial number another thing.
So let's say: from somewhere between 1965 and 1967?

It looks good no matter what vintage.
Is the distance scale metric or imperial?
