After my last project, I realized I could have-and should have-shot the whole mess on 8x10. Sure, it would have cost more in film, but I really prefer working with the 8x10 camera and lenses these days.
So, with a heavy heart, I am selling off my prized Linhof kit and most of my lenses.
I used this primarily for architecture, never shot outdoors in the winter, never in the rain, and everything has always been well-maintained and stored under excellent conditions.
Please don't ask why I have two 90mm lenses.
Prices are in USD and include shipping to Canada/USA and include Paypal fees. I will be in the US next week, and can ship from there as well, if preferred.
I will ship overseas, just ask for a quote.
And I can work with you on a better price if you want multiple items.
Linhof Technikardan 45-S camera - $2100
Is it a compact monorail? A full-featured folder? Yes, it is.
It's also the most innovative 4x5 camera ever built, to typically high German standards of precision.
This camera does it all; well, almost. It doesn't have base tilts or geared movements, except for focus, but that's a small price to pay for such a compact, versatile piece of engineering.
Specs are here: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/72978-USA/Linhof_000108_4x5_Technikardan_45s_Camera.html
The "S" has two distinct advantages over the earlier non-S version: swings and tilts have zero-detent clicks, and the L-brackets have been beefed up for extra stability.
This allows the camera to set up properly in seconds, once you learn the steps.
The camera is in excellent, like-new working order; it was sent to Mike Boylan at Blazes this past April, who sent it back saying there was nothing wrong with the camera.
All he did was replace and calibrate the GG with a new standard-issue Linhof grid, as I originally requested.
There are some minor signs of use and slight paint loss here and there, mostly where the lens board fits, but these are all normal and do not affect any of the camera's function.
Two levers do have scratches from regular use, but again, these are purely cosmetic.
All movements are excellent, work smoothly, everything tightens up very nicely, and the camera folds up and unfolds just like a TK should.
Both regular and bag bellows are in great shape, light-tight, no leaks.
Bubble levels are all intact, and like most Linhof stuff, they are very accurate.
The Graflok back is in great shape, and I recently added a generic GG hood, which actually works better than the Linhof stock hood (sorry, Linhof, that is the one weak spot).
Included with the camera:
- original bag bellows, also in great condition
- spare Linhof SuperScreen (acrylic) with gridded glass overlay; this item is NOS and has never been installed. Kept as a back-up.
- generic Linhof board, drilled to 46mm
- two FLM QR plates (Arca-type) installed on the camera base; each is 70mm long, and each comes in handy, depending on the amount of extension applied.
- Linhof spring-loaded 9x12 film/plate holder, fits 4x5 cameras, works perfectly
- weighted dark cloth, black on both sides
- Peak 5x loupe
Schneider Super-Angulon 72mm XL f5.6 lens - $1100
Looks like it just came out of the box, which is included. Shutter is perfect as the day it was made, glass is beautiful.
A magnificent performer, covers 5x7 with movements.
Includes caps, cable release adapter, new micro-fiber cloth; mounted on generic Linhof board.
Nikon SW 90mm f4.5 lens - $450
Glass and shutter both excellent. Bright image on the GG, covers 5x7 with movements.
Some signs of use on the barrel.
Includes original caps, cable release adapter, new micro-fiber cloth; mounted on generic Linhof board.
Nikon SW 90mm f8 lens - $425
Glass and shutter are both excellent, a light, compact and superb performer.
Covers 5x7 with movements.
Includes original caps and cable release adapter, new micro-fiber cloth; mounted on generic Linhof board.
Toyo 4x5 film holders - $40 each
New version, excellent condition, notched and numbered. Loaded with fresh FP4+.
I have six for sale.

Photos of the Nikon 90mm f4,5 to be added tomorrow, I'm beat right now.
Please ask any questions, and I'll be happy to take any additional photos you might need.
Thank you
