For Sale FS Linhof Technika III 4 X 5

Selling a Linhof Technika III 4 X 5 early version with serial number 5351 which I believe is around 1948. I bought this on a whim last winter and had fun tuning it up and working on it during the long Covid lockdown. A good example of fine German engineering. Camera is in good condition and all movements work as they are supposed to. Bellows are new and maximum extension is around 380mm. Aluminum body is in good shape with the usual marks of use over the years. I replaced the leather with new coverings from Camera Leathers. Camera opens and closes smoothly - the lock on the front needs a push to make sure the bed firmly locks in place as the spring is a bit weak. The revolving back is smooth and the focusing hood opens and closes. Again the spring on the lock latch is a bit weak and needs a bit of a push to seat firmly. Ground glass has no cracks and it has a fresnel screen. I have taken photos with the camera and it is light tight. Comes with an original Technika III lens board and I am including for free a 135mm Wollensak Raptar lens in Graphex shutter. Lens has cleaning marks on front element but it still takes good photos. Shutter fires on all speeds. The focusing scale on camera is for a 135mm lens. Message me if you have any questions.
