I'm reluctant to do this, but it needs to go get loved somewhere else...
This late-model single-stroke Leica M3 is really nice. Very clean. Rangefinder is bright and accurate. All the gears turn buttery smooth.
The lens is tack-sharp. No haze, fungus, dings, etc. One of the aperture blades (it's the shiny one in the photos) was replaced during a CLA. Now, it works like it should.
Also included:
-- lens and body caps
-- close-up goggles for the 50mm (the ocular that goes in front of the rangefinder is scratched, and loose, but it's somewhat useable)
-- Leica shoemount meter (it moves, but has not been tested for accuracy)
-- Leica "Ever Ready" leather case (fair condition)
The kit is not "collector's mint" as there are some faint scratches (see photos), but I'd rate it as "user immaculate". It's a joy to use, and a beauty to behold. Asking $2400 + shipping anywhere.
