Kodak Signet 40 camera + case, second in the Signet line.

Ektanon 46mm f/3.5 coated (Lumenized SP?) thorium/radioactive lens in a Kodak Synchro 400 shutter which is probably a tad slow but sounds pretty good to my ear. Sold originally for $65 from '56 to '59.

Winds on and focuses pretty smoothly but you can tell that it could be better with new grease. RF patch is a tad mis-aligned vertically but matches distance shown on a couple of my SLRs.

No lens cap, no strap. Does include the filter ring cap which is a Series V.

$30 plus shipping for a cheap entry into the world of 35mm rangefinders. 3% to APUG for their hosting. Paypal or USPS Money Order, por favor.

Please PM if interested.

$25 plus shipping bump.

Bump.

The lens in that camera is reputed to be pin-sharp. Of course it is fully coated. It is supposedly a triplet but at f3.5 speed a 46mm triplet can be computed to be as sharp as it gets, moreover if it was computed by Kodak, which had one of the most advanced lens department in the world.

I wanted to get one but I have had too many rangefinders! But a lightweight RF with a pin-sharp lens is always a good thing.

I think that the Ektanar lens on the Signet 30 and 50 is the triplet, and the Ektanon on the 40 is a Tessar-type lens.

Bump.

Sold elsewhere.
