Old school condenser enlarger (as in, made in the 1930's I believe), with 35mm film carrier, but can print up to 6x9 with the right carrier. Has a lens board for M39 thread lenses. Its fully functional with a proper enlarger bulb, as well as being a beautiful bit of kit. Note the Kodak tag on the base board as well as on the enlarger itself. I think this may date back to before WW2.
Collection only from Bishops Itchington, Warwickshire. GBP 60.
Includes a Kaiser 14x11 easel, a Bauerle timer, couple of film changing bags. Timer is working like clockwork.
Printed some 35mm on one of these last spring. I found it very easy to use, every knob was well placed, and everything made sense ergonomically.
I think the prints would have come out better if my darkroom wasn't tiny closet where I was hunched over under the stairs, but I suppose it's a poor craftsperson who blames the room.
Thanks folks, trying to make room for more darkroom stuff. I find if I move it around fast enough, my wife cannot keep track. Its like dazzle camouflage.
just wondering - if it’s still available - would you consider shipping this functional beauty “across the pond”? if so, what would be cost of packing and shipping to texas zip code 77580?
