For Sale FS Kodak Commercial Ektar 8 1/2 inch f6.3 in Ilex 3 shutter + box

Selling an 8 1/2 inch Kodak Commercial Ektar in an Ilex 3 shutter. Glass is in good condition with a few cleaning marks and the usual dust specks. I can see no fungus or haze. Shutter fires on all speeds including T and B and I would say that all are a bit slow. Aperture and shutter blades open and close smoothly and are oil free and lens covers 5 X 7 with some movements. I do not know if flash synch works as I have no way of testing. Comes with the all important mounting flange (it screws in about 2/3rds of the way and then stops but there is ample thread to hold the lens securely on the lensboard) and the original Kodak storage box. Nice classic lens and great for portraits on 4 X 5 and landscapes on 5 X 7.
