Well, getting a bit frustrated with this CPA2. I've decided to get rid of it and stick to trays and hand agitated tanks.
The bad news. It seems the motor is temperamental and I suspect needs a clean or replacing. Not sure which. I simply don't have time/inclination to start trying to sort it. A more mechanically minded/DIY type would probably get it back up and going. That the thing turns is certainly a sign it's got life left in it, I guess.
The good news is the thermostat is consistent. I've calibrated it to 20c according to my pretty reliable thermometer and it sticks to 20c very happily. The other good news is I've got all the bottles and jugs and a bunch of tanks for it. And the other good news is it's in decent nick. Certainly not new but certainly not beaten up either.
Open to offers but basically I'd like AUD$600 for it. Might seem a little high for a CPA2 with a dodgy motor but it comes with loads of stuff and I'm sure someone will have this up and running perfectly and they'll be getting a bargain if so!
