For sale is a Japanese Wooden Field Camera with Half Plate & 4x5 Backs. The camera is in excellent condition, with smooth movements and firm locks. The bellows are light-tight and supple. Both the spring backs have bail arms to make it easy to insert and remove film holders. The focusing screens on both backs are bright and clear. The chrome hardware is in good condition. The bellows extends from 70mm to 365mm. The camera weighs only 1.8 kilos with the half plate back. The camera accepts 92 x 107mm lens boards.
The half plate back accepts double sided film holders that are 151mm wide and 187mm long (from the bottom of the lip on the holder). If you have some basic woodworking skills, the back can be modified for regular 5x7 holders that can accept half plate or 5x7 film. The 4x5 back accepts regular 4x5 film holders and slide-in type roll film holders. I have a variety of film holders available at additional cost - Japanese wooden half plate film holders, Fidelity holders for half plate film and Lisco 5x7 film holders, 4x5 sheet film holders and Cambo 6x7 slide-in roll film holders if you need any.
