For Sale FS: Japanese Wooden Camera with Whole Plate, 4x5 and 8x10 Backs and WP Holders

For sale is a Japanese Whole Plate camera in excellent working condition. Apart from a few scuffs and marks on the bed, the camera is also in very good cosmetic condition. The bellows is light-tight and supple, all movements are smooth, and the locks are firm.

The bellows extends from 80mm to 480mm. The camera has front and rear focusing, front rise/fall and tilt, rear swing and tilt. It is very compact - 257mm square (excluding the protrusions) and 60mm thick. It weighs only 2.2 kilos, less than many 4x5 field cameras. The lens board size is ~105mm square. I don't have any boards.

The camera comes with three thin and light aluminum whole plate film holders.

A 4x5 reducing back and an 8x10 extension back are available as options.

these are great cameras...I had Richard Ritter make me a back to fit the Chamonix WP holders...

That's true, Peter. For someone with decent woodworking skills (not me!), it would be quite easy to modify this back as well.

The camera, holders and 4x5 back are SOLD! I'll create a separate listing for the 8x10 back.
