For sale is a Japanese Wooden 4x5 Field Camera. There's no label, but I believe it is a Nagaoka. All movements are smooth and the locks are firm. The bellows extends from 65mm to 300mm. It has a few pinholes and you will need to spend an hour or so with a brush and a can of PlastiDip. In any case, covering the bellows with a dark cloth before releasing the shutter should be standard operating practice, regardless ofwhether your camera is old or new. The focusing screen is bright and clear. There are the usual scuffs and marks on the wood. The camera weighs only 1.3 kilos, ideal for backpacking. The camera has rise/fall, tilt and swing on the front standard and tilt and swing on the rear.
