For sale is a Rodenstock Imagon 200mm Lens with your choice of Hasselblad V or Pentax 67 Focusing Helicoid. The set is complete and consists of:

200mm lens cell
all 3 disks
disk holder
lens adapter
4X ND filter
hood
your choice of Hasselblad V or Pentax 6x7 Focusing Helicoid Barrels.
The barrels are quite versatile. In addition to their normal function of holding the Imagon cells, they can also be used to front mount a Copal 3 (not3S!) shutter. This lets you use any lens mounted in a Copal 3 shutter with a Pentax 67 or Hasselblad V camera, as long as the rear cell fits into the barrel, or the lens is front mounted.

The Imagon Lens with the Hasselblad V Focusing Helicoid Barrel is SOLD!

HI Kumar,

Do you happen to know roughly what the minimum focal length lens is you could use on this tube with the Pentax 6x7 and maintain infinity focus? The flange to film distance of the P67 is about 85mm.

Thanks,

Paul

Paul,

The rear elements of the Sironar and Symmar 240mm lenses in Copal 3 shutter will not fit inside the barrel, so it was not possible to check those. I mounted a late version Fujinon SF 250mm lens in the same shutter and was able to focus the image at infinity. However, since this is a soft focus lens, it was impossible to say whether it was critically sharp. I think it may be possible to use a a 10" lens. When mounted on a Pentax 67 camera, the barrel extends 129mm from the lens mounting ring. 129 + 85 = 214mm. One can check the FFD of various lenses and figure out which ones can be used, as long as the diameter of the rear cell is not more than 60mm.

Thanks Kumar! I will check some of the longer lenses I have. A Copal #3 mount thread is supposed to be M61-0.75 - does that sound right for this barrel?

HI Kumar

Thanks for the clarification! Unfortunately I don't have any lens/shutters that will fit.

Best,

Paul

Paul, there are a number of other small lenses that could be used with a custom adapter.

Or I could find a 200mm Imagon cell, disks and the other accessories for a full set.
