Up for sale is this gorgeous Hermagis Aplanétique No. 5, 365mm.
From Maurits website:
"This lens was made by Hermagis Opticien around 1890. The Aplanat or Rapid Rectilinear has two equal sized lens groups. A pair of achromatic lens element groups, arranged symmetrically before and behind the Waterhouse stop slot or aperture."
It includes the original front cap and a full set of 7 waterhouse stops with leather case.
The glass looks good for its age too.
And it covers 8x10 as well.
Asking $375 plus shipping. (Lensboard not included.)
