I thought about it. Then I decided that I need to spend more quality time with my 4"x5"s, a Graflex Model D and a Pacemaker Speed Graphic, and become one with each of them first. I am not sure that I really want to use a view camera. If I continue in that direction, I would probably look for a field camera.

Your jumping in and buying that camera accomplished two things:
  1. It saved me the instant attack of GAS for now.
  2. It doomed you to the instant attack of GAS now.

you should have seen me last night....it was just to cool to pass up. it is my first venture into large format, and i am completely clueless. any advice on using this camera would be welcome. i also need a lens/shutter.
