Stopped by a yard sale yesterday, to look for more goodies.
Asked the owner if he any Olde Tyme photo gear available.
He didn't have anything except an old broken light meter
which he gave me for free. But, he told me about his friend in
Queens that had a bunch of stuff for sale. He made a call,
and put me on the phone with his friend, we talked for a few minutes.
I couldn't believe what this guy was telling me.
I jumped in the car and drove to Queens, NY.
I was heading that way anyhow, and it would only be a quick detour.

Found the house, knocked on the door, and met my new best friend Kurt.
He has Goodies Galore !!!
I asked him if he had any of the equipment on eBay ?
But, he doesn't even own a computer.

What a find! If the RB was not a 3x4 camera, I would be quite interested. I used to have a 3x4, and I decided to sell it due to lack of film choices. The stuff I found myself wanting to shoot with it was mostly color, and I was not "hard core" enough to slice down larger sheets to fit the holders. I got a Speed Graphic instead. I wish I had not sold the RB now. I'd like to get another, but it won't be a 3x4.

I think your friend is in for a very rude surprise with the prices, though. He may get half of what he is asking, give or take. I got my RB for $150 in excellent condition, and I have no idea what the fingerprint camera is worth. The Nikon stuff has dropped so much in value just in the past ten years. Bad for sellers. Great for buyers.

Any pics of this stuff? Condition is everything with the Graflexes. I think the 3x4 is the best fit for hand held work, the size seems just right...and roll film is an option. OTOH, sheet film is, as 2F/2F mentioned, a bit of a project unless you really like efke 100.

I Will have some pictures up by Tuesday, I was away from home this week.
And couldn't get my camera to connect with Camilles computer.
It was my first time meeting Cameron, and he has everything nicely
shrinkwrapped, so I didn't want to start tearing things apart right yet.

I tried to explain the pricing situation to him, but how do you tell an 85 year old
man that the equipment he has collected all his life has no value because of the
Digital Revolution ... Very Carefully, I guess ?

Hopefully as he gets to know me, I can get him to be a bit more realistic about pricing.
Money Talks, so any pricing info that can be provided, will be appreciated.
