The Good: It will shoot a 6x9 cm image on 120 roll film. The advance is in in good working order, and the spacing is good. I ran a roll of film through it and it seemed to work okay.
The Bad: This back was formerly a 6x6 back that someone cut and filed to make a 6x9 opening. The Mechanism is the correct one (RH8), so it advances properly to fit the size of the opening. The opening seems pretty straight though. The darkslide for it is one for a 6x9 back for a 2x3 camera, so it's a little short. It does, however, cover and close the opening such to make it light-tight. So it's functional.
The Ugly: There is a piece that had broken off the top corner of the back of the rollfilm holder shell. It's been glued back into place and seems light-tight.
I ran a roll of film through this holder, and it seemed to check out fine. I had strange vertical lines striping the bottom edge of the film, but I think that's the fault of the film (A friend gave me a random roll they had sitting around for god knows how long)
Might be good for a project / parts / pinhole project.
