For Sale FS Gitzo Pro 5 Section Tripod, Sans Head, Local Pickup in NYC - $140

I've got some Gitzo legs that I no longer have space for. This is a professional 5 section tripod with an extendable base -- fully extended, each leg is over 8 feet long, and the tripod has a maximum height of 10 feet. Folded, it is just over 2.5 feet tall. It will support equipment weighing as much as 25 pounds (that's how much I put on it) -- probably more.

Ideal for large format photography, medium format digital, a massive DSLR, or cinematic photography. Could be used for incredible over the top group shots or tilted views of crowds or landscapes. Very versatile.

It does not come with a head, but heads are a lot cheaper these days. Used, it cost $269 at B&H a couple of years ago, but I'll take $140 for it. Because of its size and weight, I really don't want to ship it, so I'm listing this, for now, as a local pickup -- if you are in the New York city area, let me know, and we can arrange a time and a place to meet.
