I'm glad to announce that the adapters to mount Fujinon SF 420mm f/5.6 lenses in Shanel 5A shutters are now ready. I have an initial batch for sale. These adapters are machined out of aluminum and then anodized.
The maximum aperture of the lens is reduced by 2/3 stop to approximately f/7. I think this is a reasonable compromise for the luxury of having a proper shutter to use this wonderful and uncommon lens.
The lens, yellow disk and shutter you see in the photos are also available for sale. Please ask if you'd like to buy them as well.
