For Sale FS: Fuji-W 300mm 5.6 in a silver-ringed Copal 3(with a few small issues)

hey guys,


This lens was going to go into my 4x5 kit, but since I'm now using a Toyo 45AX, this lens weighs almost as much as the camera itself !


Well, here's the "issues" with it...


1. There's a bit of separation in the rear group. Nothing that has affected my film, see picture #4 below.
2. There's some dust internally. Again, nothing that's affected my exposures. Not a whole lot, but there's some there.
3. The 1/4 sec setting seems to be running @ almost 1/30 or so. IDK why, maybe a CLA will clear this up. All the other speeds seem to run fine according to my ear, but I've not actually had it tested for exact speeds.
4. The preview lever is slightly bent. Also, *sometimes* it seems to want to "lock" open, a bit of nudging and lifting the lever towards the front of the shutter will dis-engage it.


Despite these "issues", this lens can be a solid performer, as long as you work around these little(IMO) issues, it can be a nice lens.
