For Sale FS: Fuji FP-1 Instant Film Camera

For sale is a Fuji FP-1 Instant Camera in good condition. This was one of the best rangefinder instant cameras of its time. The lens is a sharp Fujinon 105mm f/5.6 lens. There are a couple of small marks on the glass. The Copal 0 shutter is working properly. The bellows is light-tight and the rangefinder is working properly. There is some slight cloudiness in the viewfinder, but not enough to cause problems. This may be a good candidate for conversion to 4x5, or perhaps for dry plates.

FP-100C is available, though at high prices. And there is some new film - One Instant from BetterSense in Austria. But the best would be to convert it to 4x5 or dry plate. The dry plate conversion would be the simplest.

You can also Jerry-rig Instax of one size or another into the packs and pull develop it -- likely the most sensible, if you have some empty pack shells (you get one Instax per shell, by the methods I've seen). Or, there's a guy in Canada on the Classifieds right now with a bunch of FP100c -- but he's well aware of the scarcity factor...
