Decided not to get this CLA'ed. Got this as a fixed lens, light, sharp, MF camera to backpack with. It took a tumble off my end table, and the front 'bailing wire' assembly tore off. The winding mechanism currently doesn't cock the shutter, but the shutter and lens are in perfect shape. Rangefinder was working just fine, but a bit sluggish. After being exposed to the dusty Southwest Thankfully the crash bar did its job!
Given the fragility, it doesn't do the job I wanted, and I've been backpacking with my baby Graflex lately.
Got a couple repair quotes, and it could be repaired and CLA'ed (glueing the front assembly vs replacing) for about $120. Or, combine it with another broken one for a nice camera.
I just need this thing gone before moving again. $85 plus shipping. I have slow internet that blocks a lot of uploads, so email me for photos and I'll get them sent out from my phone.
