Up for sale: a great ball head, the FLM 43F. This rig would be staying on my tripod if I wasn't consolidating and upgrading to a larger FLM head. I am using one head now, for my Hassy and my Ritter 8x10. This perfectly suited my Hassy 503CW, no issues whatsoever. A few scratches here and there, but always cared for. I wasn't exactly trekking through Nepal with this thing. Made in Germany, shows it as well... really, really well made.

QR Clamp: SRB-60, accepts all Arca-type plates.
The plate in the photo is 70mm long, the QRP-70 plate.

Daniel,

This doesn't have the 'Tilt/Neigen' function, does it?

Also, was this able to hold your 8x10?

I don't recall if it had that feature or not. It held my Ritter, but it's a light camera. I only upgraded because I'm now making 2,6, and 12 hour exposures outside.

No, the "F" ball heads have only friction and pan functions.
For a ball head with the tilt lock function, it would have "FT" (T for tilt) in the product name.
A 43mm ball head is not recommended for 8x10; best to go with at least a 48mm head (CB-48FT, or example).

Ari,

Could a 43mm head handle a Deardorff 8x10 for portraits, basically straight up and down, leveled out?

Thanks!

Logan
