Thanks for the heads up about the age of the threads; the challenge is that very few of the classifieds are updated as to their availability. My theory is it's always reasonable to ask.

Agreed. And especially in the case of ancient threads, it's more reasonable to ask by private message to the original posted IMO.

Unfortunately, that option isn't available to pepstein unless and until their post count is higher.
I look at it this way - if the original seller is still around, they may still have the items.
And if not, someone else who has something similar that might meet pepstein's needs may be prompted to reach out.

I'd politely disagree with Matt, things that are a year or more should just be cleaned out.
I've seen some old ads but think there might be an email or notice letting the OP having an option
whether to renew the ad or not.
