Question

Hi

Is this EXA a 35mm or 120mm film camera? Thanks

Looks like a really nice clean example with good lenses rather than crap that I see with so many Exas for sale. Durr, the EXA is a 35mm camera. Nice very simple, well constructed body. Interesting design. The viewfinder unless buggered up is quite bright. These cameras can take a very large assortment of lenses fomr excellent quality to trash.

Thanks Brian for answering the questions. I am really surprised at how bright the viewfinder is. The lenses I have put together for this set seem, based on reviews around the web, some of the better quality lenses out there.

Years ago I acquired quite a collection of Exacta items, more by accident than purposeful. One body was an EXA and I found I really enjoyed it with a 28mm to 35mm lens, either Ziess or Augenuix (SP?), a French lens. A friend who owned a camera shop before I started to collect sold brands including Alpa, Leica, Zeiss and Exacta. His personal camera was a EXA and he felt it with a top range lens was every bit as good as anything from any other company. He convinced me that basically a body is little more than a box to hold the lens and the lens is where it is at provided the body held the film flat or reasonably so.
