Lens was bought new on 10 May 2011. It's very sharp and with nice bokeh (if you care about that), but it draws a bit hard/contrasty. I prefer 'softer' lenses for my b&w.
Included with the lens are the original packaging (foam, plastic, paperwork, box), the original front and rear caps, a 43mm -> 46mm step up ring, and a generic 46mm cap. The step up ring serves the triple function of:
- masking the shiny metal rim (although the lens is extremely resistant to flare),
- allowing the use of the more commonly sized 46mm filters,
- allowing installation of a stronger-springed generic 46mm cap instead of the somewhat feeble original 43mm Zeiss cap (it falls off).
I have used this lens very sparingly, and when I did a UV or yellow filter was always attached (no filters included in this sale). The lens is in pristine condition, absolutely no signs of use. You are effectively buying a new lens. The bill will be included (AFA Fotohandel, Tiefenbach, Germany).
