I bought this lens one month ago (23/2/2012), thinking to use it for b&w. While it is fine on my D40, the contrast that this lens produces on b&w film is just way way too much for my liking. I know that contrast can be tuned down, but besides the overall contrast of a b&w negative there is also something called 'character', 'drawing', perhaps even 'micro-contrast', and this lens just doesn't do the right thing for me in that respect. Very sharp and nice bokeh though. Silent and fast too.

The lens is in absolute mint condition (not ebay mint, but real mint) and comes with the whole package that you get when buying new (caps, hood, box, pouch, booklet, warranty card, plastic, carton) and with the receipt (Foto Nebo, The Hague, Netherlands). The receipt is not set to any name, just in case that's a concern. No grey market item (so long as you're in Europe), official Nikon Europe import.

No catches anywhere, just a great lens that doesn't suit me at all- not really such a contradiction in terms as it may seem .

I paid 465 Euros for the lens; now seeking 400 Euros, Paypal and shipping within Europe included. Payment through bank transfer would also be fine, of course.
