Scanner has a dual lens function where it can scan 8x10 @ 4800dpi on the glass and 6400dpi for film above the glass, in the film holders. Also, I believe this model has a coated high res lens. This belonged to a neighbor. I have tested it out for reflective, 8x10 film and film in holder @ 6400dpi and it works good. Like most these, it could use a cleaning of the inner glass surface. As shown in the photos, it has scratches on the exterior.

It does not come with any film holders. Many people prefer to make/use there own holders, which is fairly easy to do from a sheet of rubber or tape to a sheet of glass.

It does come with white insert for reflective scanning and power supply. Epson Scan software is a free download at Epson.com. It will require either a USB2 or Firewire cable to operate (not included).

$250 plus postage, or local pickup in Northern California. I'm guessing shipping would run from $25-50. I can lock upper and lower carriages and pack it good. I don't think it would be worth shipping internationally. Paypal accepted.

If you have any questions, let me know. I can email larger photos or scan samples.

I own one of these. Really nice scanner.

For those who may worry, cleaning the inner glass surface is not difficult on this model. In picture #3 above, notice the small circular round covers with what looks like a flattened 'V' in them, two at the bottom and two more at the top of the dark bezel surrounding the glass.

After removing the lid (lifts right out, no tools required), remove those circular covers by applying some duct tape, then lifting straight up. Under the covers are four screws. Remove those screws and the bezel with attached glass lifts right out for cleaning.

The accumulation of haze is an outgassing issue that is normal in these units and may be periodically wiped clean. Mine is due for another touch-up right now.

Best of luck with this sale.
