I am selling an Epson 4870 flatbed scanner, which can scan film up to 4x5. It comes with holders for 35mm strip, 35mm mounted slide, medium format, and 4x5. Also comes with original drivers disc, manual, and a licensed version of Silverfast AI on original CD.

This scanner is properly locked for shipping. This means that the moving carriages in both the lid and the body have been locked into place using the lock switches built into the unit. This ensures safe shipping. Photos to follow

Someone asked about Windows support. I have checked the Epson.com website and found the support details for the free software from Epson in terms of Windows 7 and Vista:

This scanner is supported by Epson in Windows 7 and Vista in 32-bit AND 64-bit mode. So you can use the Epson software with that scanner regardless of whether you have a 32-bit or 64 bit install.

And it is fully supported by Mac OS X up to and including Mountain Lion.

while the negative holders only go up to 2x 4x5
the original light-lid on this scanner, allows scanning upto 6x8"
(and i often scan 5x7 + glass)
does this scanner have the original lid ?
this is a great scanner and a great price !
