It has been a hard decision but I’ve decided to give up large format photography. I’ve been shooting 4x5 for ~25 years and I have enjoyed it very much but recently I have been shooting mostly digital and find it is a better tool for my style of photography.
This listing is for my workhorse camera, my Ebony SV45U. It is in excellent condition with only a few signs of use. This basically handmade camera and is one of the most versatile, rock solid field camera made plus, it is a work of art. For all the details and description go to the Ebony web site; Dead Link Removed or Badger Graphic Sales; https://www.badgergraphic.com/store/...ct_detail&p=67.

Here is a link to several photos of my camera; http://s1085.photobucket.com/user/Mr...lideshow/Ebony

What’s included:
Stock Ebony SV45U camera with box and RPT case.

Price = $3995 net to me.

I have several accessories and lenses available for this camera that I will list separately.

How about if I include the CAMBO viewer and S.K.Grimes brackets. This cost me almost $400.

What a beautiful camera. I have been flirting with one for a couple of years now... what is the main difference between this and the 45SU other than the folding?

Bed drop on the folder and rear shift on the non-V?

One of the big difference is the SV45U has base tilts both front and rear, also longer bellows. They are both excellent cameras made for the photographer who demands the best.

This same model Ebony recently sold on the bay for $3800 (eBay item number:161245423281) and that one is the first that I've seen listed for a long time. There is a reason that they are seldom seen on the used market, they are that good.

Saw a RW45 on KEH for a reasonable(?), or cheaper than eBay, price. It was gone a few hours later.

If you are in the San Francisco bay area, come by and take a look, no obligation. Send me a PM for time and location.

Might of been Me. I purchased an RW45 from keh and was the lowest priced I seen online, including eBay. It's in excellent condition.
