For sale, an Eastman View #1 in whole plate size, with one very clean film holder (EKC of Great Britain) included. I've heavily patched the bellows using Tulip matte black paint in the corners both inside and out (the job was made more difficult by not being able to fully extend the bellows due to lack of extension rail) and it seems light tight (by flashlight test and exposure of two sheets paper). The front standard rise/fall gearing is loose. The lensboard is a homemade job with a "shutter" inside it - the plunger should be connected to the little protrusion on the board - when it's rotated slightly, the shutter opens - but the linkage is missing. Handle is intact but delicate (I wouldn't use it). The anti-sag feature is present on the front standard. Other than needing the usual care on crossing the line between base and front rails, the front and rear rack well.
Camera does not have tripod block or extension. Missing one knob on the rear and a screw on the lower spring.
Asking $175 + CONUS shipping.
Thanks,
Dan
