This is a Durst L1200 enlarger with a CLS 450 color head. It can handle negative up to 4x5 inches, both black and white and color. Ive had it for about 15 years now. As some of you may have noticed by now I'm selling my entire darkroom because my new house no longer has space for a darkroom.
As you can tell from the pictures it sits on a very heavy enlarging table that is made of aluminum, with a large and very stable baseboard that measures 32 x 30 inches. So this is whats included:
Durst L1200 chassis
Durst CLS 450 color head
Enlarging table (very heavy)
Durst TRA 450 power supply
Femobox diffusion chambers for different sized negatives: 35mm, 6x6, 6x9, 4x5
Femoneg negative carrier, comes with upper AN glass and lower regular glass, this is also a masking carrier with four independent masking blades.
Femomask negative masks to fit the Femoneg carrier, again for different sized negatives including: 35mm, 645, 6x6, 6x7, 4x5
Many lens boards for different sized enlarging lenses, these are extra as the enlarging lenses included already have lens boards.
Every lens youll ever need! This includes a Schneider Componon-S 150mm for 4x5, A Schneider Componon-S 100mm for 6x9 and smaller, and a Schneider Componon-S 50 mm for 35mm negatives. These are great lenses!
2 focus finders, an Omega and a Magnasite, these complement each other depending on how you work.
Ilford multigrade filter set, the enlarger has a filter holder below the lens for these.
Enough replacement enlarger bulbs to last the rest of your life
Replacement diffusers for the Femoboxes
Unused Jobo portable darkroom safelight, for when you loose something in the dark
A Jobo variformat enlarging easel
LPL 11x14 4-bladed easel in great shape
It took me quite a while to get this kit together. Youll not need to worry about accessories at all, it comes with everything. By the way, parts and accessories for DURST are all available at DURST-PRO USA. But they are costly!
I will not ship this monster! It really requires a couple of people to take away. I will consider driving a good bit to meet a motivated buyer somewhere along the way between here and there
I'm asking $850 US net to me. I think it's a bargain, but you'll be the judge.
We are 8,142km apart, give or take a km or two. And that distance is a straight line. If we were to drive, it would be "a little" more.
Halfway point would be somewhere in Central America, somewhere south of Mexico, I'm guessing.
Where do you want to meet?
Now, seriously, I thank you for the offer. The shipping costs would be prohibitive. And, even if that wasn't the case, my wife would kill me if I spent that money.
Still, I dream about having one of these someday. I'm sure I'll find a way.
