For Sale FS: Darlot Petzval - 5x7 certainly, WP probably, maybe 8x10

For sale, a roughly 10-11" petzval. It has a restriction in the center of around 2" diameter so it's limited to around f5. It was made for a McAllister Magic Lantern, and the flange is marked AD. Lenses are edge marked. So, almost certainly a Darlot. It doesn't really cover 8x10, even at portrait distance, unless you like a lot of fall-off, but it should cover WP. Glass is very clean. Barrel is in nice shape. The hood is just a bit out of round.

There are two snaps of the GG on my Eastman 2-D, one with a DSLR, the other with my cellphone's 24mm lens.

How about $350 + shipping for this beauty?

Another paper negative at 8x10. It covers 8x10 (I had the lens shifted up to get more of the swirl so there are dark corners at the bottom) with a nice signature - a bit of blobby swirl, this time over-exposed. Get in closer and you just get a nice background blur.

Glass. is around 2 5/8"
Rear barrel is 3.002"
Mounting thread is 3.2"
OD of flange is 4.45"
