Hi, all -
Offering for sale my diminutive Darlot Hemishperique Rapide #2:
Engraved with W.H. Walmsley & Co, Philadelphia, it has the familiar "AD" engraving on the hood:
The lens is 9", about f/9-10-ish. The glass is in very nice shape, with some light wisps on the front. Nothing that has any effect on anything. It has a Waterhouse slot, and I've made one stop from some phenolic, at about f/20-22. The brass is a bit worn, but still has a nice look about it. The collar is an adjustable friction fit, and there is no flange with this lens.
Some images from this lens:
It's a tiny little lens, but is sharp as a tack where needed, and has a beautiful, smooth rendering of the out-of-focus areas.
I'd like to get $160 plus insured shipping for this. PayPal only, "gift" preferred.
Thanks,
Scott
