For sale is a Dallmeyer Quick Acting Portrait 2B 6" Lens. This is confirmed by the data at http://thedallmeyerarchive.com/Records/photo lens books/9.pdf
The lens has a back focus of 6" and the lens diameter is 2 3/4". The lens comes with the original hood and flange. The rack-and-pinion is working smoothly. You'll need to make your own Waterhouse stops. There are no caps, but the lens will be well protected during shipping.
The glass is clear, except for the following small issues:
There's a tiny chip on the front lens, which can be seen at the 1 o'clock position in the third photo. There's also a hairline scratch on the front lens and some general dust. I believe these will not have any significant impact on your images.
While most Dallmeyer Portrait lenses on the market now are for larger formats, this one is for the 4x5 format, and may cover 5x7 at close distances.
