For sale fast brass lens for 4x5 format. Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 165mm f3,5.
It`s in fully working condition but you have to know about couple of things.
There are some scratches in the center of rear element. It was quite hard to photographed it but please take a look on the photos - i marked it on red.
Aperture working in full range but from about f4,5 to f3,5 it`s a little bit harder to turn the aperture ring. I think you will use it rather full open but i have to mentioned about it.
Otherwise the glass is nice , no scratches , no separation and no fungus. I made custom brass flange for this lens and i find it looks very good , almost like oryginal
This is very nice , quite small and fast lens. Much cheaper thank Kodak aero ektar lens these days but with quite similar parameters and rendering i belive. Should works great with Speed Graphic etc.
