For sale is my Contax S2 60th anniversary edition camera. It's in great shape, the leatherette is near perfect, there are some scuff marks on the bottom, but nothing out of the ordinary for a camera of its age. This is a fully mechanical camera which will work without batteries. The batteries only are used for the camera's spot metering system. It doesn't have a specific mirror lock up button or switch, but the mirror flips up when using the self timer. Shutter speeds run from 1 sec to 1/4000 plus B. The shutter does create a slight 'ping' noise after an exposure, but per Contax expert Peter Robinson (https://www.contax-yashica-repairs.co.uk/) informed me that is normal for the model. It never bothered me at all, but I thought I should mention it. Body cap included with the sale.
$380 includes shipping in the U.S. Will consider shipping outside of the U.S. for an extra charge.

Hi! Beautiful camera, are you willing to drop price by $40-$50 considering I would have to purchase a lens for the body? Or let me know the most you'd consider. Thanks!
