For sale is my Yashicamat 124 tlr, serial number 9120513 that Mark Hama cla'd a couple of years ago. It works great, the lenses are clear and the Yashinon 80mm 3.5 taking lens is very sharp. After receiving the camera from Mark Hama, I flocked the film chamber (see photo 5) to reduce flare. It really helps with contrast. The camera has some obvious scuffs, paint loss, etc., but nothing out of the ordinary from a nearly 50 year old camera. Cosmetically I consider it about a 7.5 out of 10. The self timer works, you can see the tape I placed to keep the flash selector on X (on photos 2 and 4) which is necessary to use the self timer.

The light meter responds to light, but isn't very accurate. I never used it since I always use a hand held light meter.

Included in the sale is a generic plastic tlr lens cap.

$265 USD includes shipping in the US. I accept Paypal and postal money order for payment. PM me for an international shipping charge.

Forgot to mention that the camera obtains 12 or 24 photos depending on using either 120 or 220 film. 12 or 24, Yashica 124. Kodak will no longer be selling 220 film, but 220 Velvia (at least for now) can be obtained from Japan and there are decent deals on expired 220 film out there.

$250 USD via Paypal or postal money order, shipping included. PM me for an international shipping charge.

Bump, plus I'll toss in a fresh roll of 220 Portra 400 with the purchase.

Not a chance the flock might peel off?

Well, I am not thinking of the glue but what is attached to the glue...

After applying the flocking material, I use some masking tape to remove any possible loose fibers. I've been using this material for years and I haven't had any issues.

This is a great source for the material:
